What is Discovery Time?
A Reggio Emilia inspired STEAM space for child led exploration!
Created by Sally Robinson, a Masters level educated primary school teacher and passionate Reggio Emilia advocate, Discovery Time provides an authentic play space for children to learn, question, explore and discover.
Steeped in art, Discovery Time aims to give children a voice and a platform to express themselves. There’s lots of painting, gluing, clay work, natural loose parts, fabrics and movement. Children are the protagonists of their own learning. We have the luxury of truly following the child’s lead as they show us how truly capable they are of being responsible for their own learning through play.

Shape of Clay Investigation
Clay is offered in its different phases of life. Find it damp, dry, crushed and powdered. Help it meet with water and come back to life again.
